British Competitors at Royal Windsor Horse Show

14-17 May 2025

Royal Windsor is over for another year and with that we'd like to congratulate our British Four-in-Hand Drivers on another very successful competition.

22 Four-in-Hand Horse Teams took part in the competition and we saw great results over all three phases:

Dressage:

• Robert Wilkinson - 7th Place - 48.11
• Dan Naprous - 14th Place - 56.70
• George Bowman IV - 19th Place - 62.36
• Karen Bassett - 21st Place - 64.70

As a team, Great Britain were only 1 penalty off 3rd place after dressage! Outstanding result.

 Marathon

•  George Bowman IV - 11th Place - 113.22
• Karen Bassett - 12th Place - 113.34
• Dan Naprous - 17th Place - 118.42
• Robert Wilkinson - 19th Place - 120.29  

George Bowman IV was one of only 4 competitors to go clear around the Marathon with no balls down. Congratulations to Team Bowman on a great round! The sun shone all day and the crowds were out in force to watch all Drivers tackle the course with everyone returning home safely.

Cones:

•  Dan Naprous - 14th Place - 4 Cones & 7.22 Time Faults
• Karen Bassett - 18th Place - 5 Cones & 11.91 Time Faults
• Robert Wilkinson - 19th Place - 5 Cones & 14.57 Time Faults
• George Bowman IV - 20th Place - 5 Cones & 19.69 Time Faults

 Final Placings (22 individual drivers):

•  Dan Naprous - 15th Place
• Robert Wilkinson - 16th Place
• Karen Bassett - 18th Place
• George Bowman IV - 19th Place

Team Competition (5 countries):

• Great Britain - 4th Place
