About this group

Welcome to our page.

We have got together to try and form a community for the grooms/backsteppers in our sport.

We recognise the role of the groom/backstepper in each turnout is different and drivers appreciate their help in their own way.

Our aim is to provide a place where grooms/backsteppers can learn and progress within the sport from grass roots to international level and to air any issues they may have.

We hope this will make those who are not drivers feel more included and appreciated within the sport and to encourage more to participate.

We need the grooms/backsteppers in this sport, whether the occasional or professional, to help the sport grow and prosper in a safe way.
