Geoff Woods

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Geoff Woods.

Geoff first started having carriage driving lessons in 1983 with a single, then pairs, and quickly went on to purchase his first team of chestnut cobs.

In the latter years he will be remembered for driving his 4-in-hand team of Dutch warmbloods.

Geoff was a great supporter of carriage driving. He travelled around the country competing at every event throughout the season, never missing one.

He would always be found parked next to his great friend George Bowman.

Geoff became a keen Coaching Club member in 2004, participating in coaching events and many Coaching Club meets.

We would like to send our condolences to Geoff’s wife Ann and his family.

His funeral and wake will take place at The Barn at Alswick, Hare St Rd, Buntingford, SG9 0AA on the 3rd October at 11am.
