BC are delighted to confirm that there are two routes to qualification for the National Championships for 2023.
Qualification at events will continue as stated in the BC Rule Book, Annex 16, Para: 4.11 (page 95 in 2023 rulebook) In addition, any competitor that completes two National or Regional events in the 2023 season will also gain a qualification. |

Qualification Criteria for drivers competing at National Driving Trials, Regional Driving Trials, Club Novice Qualifier, Gateway and VSE classes.
If there are 5 or more competitors in the class, the highest two will qualify, disregarding those already qualified, from the first eight places. If there are 1 to 4 in the class - the one highest placed, disregarding those already qualified. The number of competitors in a class will be taken as the number who started the competition, as shown in the results sheet. In order to qualify, a competitor must be a Supporting, Associate, Full or International member of British Carriagedriving (depending on the class entered) and must complete all three phases of the competition without elimination or retirement. |
