Midlands Carriagedriving regrets that it has had to cancel its Widmerpool event for this year (18th 19th August) as the landowners have been unable to harvest crops in time due to the heat wave stunting growth.

However, Paul Hart has generously stepped in and is offering a ODE with four obstacles at Anslow, near Tutbury, on Saturday 18th August.

The ODE will have the usual range of club classes with dressage starting at approximately 09.00am followed by cones.

A short marathon course of 4km and four obstacles will commence once the dressage and cones phases for all competitors are completed.

Marathon attire can be worn throughout the competition but axle width needs to be correct for cones.

Entry forms can be found online at www.midlandscarriagedriving.co.uk or call Lesley West on 01630 661314.

Entries close 8th August.

Overnight parking is available from mid-day on the Friday; information on local stabling can be obtained from Paul on 07779 922506.
